Halacha – Jewish Law Lying To Save Someone from Embarrassment


We are permitted to lie to save another person from embarrassment. For example, we may admit to something we did not do in order to take the blame for another person, or at least imply that we too were involved in the misdeed if it minimizes the embarrassment of those who are actually guilty...
